What’s New at The Beat Gallery
This month at the gallery we are focusing on our own works. After a fun summer of two great shows and new found artist friends, it’s time to hunker down and get ready for fall and the holiday season. Michael is ordering gift items for the gallery floor, we have purchased a few new paintings, and we are both working on art and paintings.
One of the really fun projects Susan has tackled is a series of altered tin boxes. These are small collage/assemblages we refer to as Art-In-A-Box. They come with a wire stand and are proving to be very popular. At the right price, and a great size for a gift, they are proving to be quite popular. Of the four pieces so far produced three are spoken for. The piece at the left is being held out of the gallery for a short time so she can build up an inventory to fill the jewelry cabinet, and showcase some on our Etsy site. A very nice predicament to be in!
We will continue to keep our readers/customers updated on new works arriving, and will be continuing to build our new website: http://beatgallery.weebly.com and you can see if Susan is able to keep pace with these tins on www.etsy.com/shop/TheBeatGallery this should be amusing!
